Starting Taekwon-Do can feel like a big step for both children and adult beginners. Here are answers to the most common questions we receive about classes, getting started and training with confidence.
What age can children start Taekwon-Do?
Children can start our Mini Kids program from age 4. This class focuses on coordination, listening skills, confidence and discipline through fun Taekwon-Do training.
Do you offer Taekwon-Do classes for adults?
Yes. Our Senior Class is open to ages 13 and above, including adult beginners. Many adult members begin training with no previous martial arts experience and train for fitness, self defence and personal development.
Can adults start Taekwon-Do with no experience?
Yes. Many students join as adult beginners. Our instructors guide new students step by step so they can learn safely while improving their skills and confidence.
Am I too old to start martial arts training?
Not at all. Many students begin training in their 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond. Training can be adapted to suit different fitness levels and goals.
Do I need to be fit before starting?
No. You do not need to be fit to begin. Training gradually improves strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance.
Will I be training with children as an adult student?
No. Our Senior Class is designed for ages 13 and above and includes teenagers and adults. Adult beginners are welcomed and can train comfortably while progressing at their own pace.
Is Taekwon-Do good for adult fitness and self defence?
Yes. Training improves strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance while teaching practical self defence skills.
Is Taekwon-Do safe for children?
Yes. Classes are structured and supervised by experienced instructors. Children learn discipline, respect and control in a safe environment.
What should I bring to the first class?
Just bring comfortable training clothes and a water bottle. If you decide to continue training we will guide you on the correct uniform.
How often can students train?
We run multiple classes every week, allowing students to train regularly and progress steadily.
Can beginners join at any time?
Yes. Beginners are welcome to start by booking our Beginner Introduction Program.
